About Therapy and Therapist
With over 20 years of experience as a New York State licensed massage therapist, Shoko Akiyama offers a uniquely therapeutic and medical massage form.
Her technique blends soothing Swedish massage, Dynamic Deep Tissue, and therapeutic Myofascial Release with aromatherapy, using only the highest quality organic Jojoba and the finest essential oils, for a complete healing and relaxing experience.
All sessions are tailored to the condition of each individual client.
Shoko was first introduced to therapeutic massage as a client when she was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and experienced chronic pain. She was quite impressed with the healing results of her massage sessions.
Later this wonderful experience opened the door to becoming a massage therapist herself, and now she continually seeks new knowledge and growth to serve her clients better!
